if it was there from beginning when you didnt had any patches installed than it could be a defective cd. you can always get a replacement cd from where you originally bought it

In countries like india and pakistan
strangely it is difficult to find real copy than a pirated one
believe me..........

I've seen bundles of pirated copies of win xp selling for Rs 40 while the actual prices are around Rs 40000 or something like that

government need to play a big part for banning the pirated copies.. just like here in USA so atleast we can support the makers and also protect their jobs

I went to Pakistan last month and trust me its so hard to find priginal softwares and if a person wants to buy a original software from other countries through online most of the people dont have credit cards and its saves a hassle for lot of people if they can just buy it cheap and in their own city... so if govt puts a ban than we will see the priginal software in the market to buy

Oh I agree. The copyright laws in some countries (Pakistan, Malaysia, and some African countries are the worst offenders) are severely lacking. The governments need to step in.

Also the software companies could do a lot by reducing prices in some countries. While the price may be affordable in England or the US, the same price may not be affordable in all countries, where wages are not as high.

O Come one don't say rediculious thing -_- <_< . I know it's hard to find but the decsent & educated people don't do these thing. I told my friend when was going to Pakistan bring Grand Theif Auto and C2002 and he brought the original ones with the receipt.

In Pakistan 70% people are un-educated and I think thats the reason why. -_- <_<
