Google Earth

Had a good LOL when I zoomed in fully.
So it is true. The moon is made of cheese. LOL

In google earth ,how did u get such zzomed in view to show the buildings.I don't get see buildings when I see my city(Chennai) but I can see names of places in Chennai.
I selected the building in the checkbox too.

As I said earlier, not all areas are mapped in detail. I guess it costs a lot of money to task a satelite to take these pictures. You can see here an example of where the detailed maps are going to be. (The darker stripes)

one more doubt.
What is the difference between Google Earth,Google Earth Plus & Google Earth Pro.
I don't see anything written clearly on that site or have I missed out to read somthing.

Thanks kevmead,
ur right about the regions which have detailed view.
All I can see in Chennai(Madras) just vegetation & sand.
But I think the one pointed with the arroe is the Madras chepauk Cricket stadium as it is on the sea shore.

no probs mate.

I have been trying to find cricket stadiums (as well as other things) but its quite hard to find things even in cities that I know let alone places I have never been to. Maybe people could post pics of cricket grounds they find, that would be kinda cool:cool:

Here is my place of worship (St Lawrence Ground, Home of Kent CCC)
