Under the Gun by the Killers just rocks. It's on their new Sam's Town album.

Basically 60s-70s rock. Nearly anything produced in 1969 is brilliant. The peak of rock music history.

Well if you want great lyrics anything by Bob dylan...Kurt cobain for melody but not the best lyricist(nevermind or bleach)..Jeff buckley (grace)..Pearl Jam Vitalogy(listen to under some form of medication if ya catch my drift)..Something for Kate(song:Electricity)..and one more for now ..its an oldie but even the beatles said it inspired them...petsounds by the beachboys

Well my favourite albums at the moment are Blackholes and Revelations by Muse and Sam's Town by The Killers.

i agree that Eddie Vedder is one of the better lyricists going around...i tend to go through phases of what music i like to listen too, some of my favourites would be Zakk Wylde/Black Label Society, Slayer, Rise Against, Rammstein, Judas Priest, In Flames, Frenzal Rhomb.

bit of a mixed bag but all are pretty decent acts at the least...

Do you have any Led Zeppelin or AC/DC? If you like hard rock I can recommend some albums by the latter, but if you're more into the classic rock stuff Led Zeppelin kicks ass.
