Table Prediction
France
Mexico
South Africa
Uruguay

Difficult group to predict this. France only just qualified and haven't been playing great, and all the other three teams have a chance of going through as well. Not too sure.

This group IS definitely hard to predict and those 3 teams will cause problems to France especially after seeing what Ireland did against them in the Play-Off.

I'm going to predict a huge upset here with the French going out...

Mexico
South Africa
France
Uruguay

According to me, France will manage to scrape through. I think Uruguay might upset Mexico here.

Most probably,
Mexico/Uruguay
France
South Africa.

Well, it wouldn't really be that much of an upset if France went out but the early exit would definitely benefit the French.

The FA might finally stop bending over and get rid of the clueless fool in charge of them.

Ah well, it's official now anyway, Blanc will become thier manager after the WC.

I don't think the hosts have ever failed to make it out of the group stage.

but there's a first time for everything and this will definitely be that year. Even an under-preforming france will mow down south africa.

Go France! Go Henry! Even though I am not very optimistic about their chances in this tournament. There is a pattern of their performances, in 1998 they won the world cup and in 2002 they exited early and again in 2006 they were the runners up. So going by the pattern, this might be not be a very good tournament for them.

Haha France lost to China. les Blues area disaster waiting to happen in the WC.

I feel that Mexico and France should go through.

Warm-up losses don't matter, if France can somehow get through to the quarter finals, you never know what can happen. :D

I think many of us are underestimating South Africa, they are the host nations and have played very attacking football in the Confederations cup. I reckon they would fancy their chances.
