Group G - BRAZIL, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal

The people of North Korea won't be seeing that humiliation. Kim-Jong Il will delete the record of that game from North Korean history.

Or he will say all 7 goals were disallowed and they actually drew 0-0 :p

Maybe get a few prisoners to dress up and pretend to score a North Korean goal In front of a green screen where they then add in the background :p

North Korea will beat Ivory Coast in the final game. Portugal and Brazil will draw 1-1. Did anyone see Ronaldo's head thingy?

And we finally have our first thumping, bit surprised Brazil didn't do this in their first game. Hard to say which was the Brazil Portugal game will go especially with Kaka out.

Well in the Brazilian game the Koreans maintained and ultra defensive approach. They had all their 11 men on their own half. In the Portugal match, they were forced to abandon that approach as they needed a win to stay alive. I should say though, the Koreans did make a lot more defensive errors in the Portugal match.

Once again - all we can hear are vuvuzelas. Did the BBC somehow filter the vuvuzelas for the England game, or did the fans simply outsing them? If they did filter them, then why not do it for other games as well?

This always happens, doesn't it? The game gets hyped up to its eyeballs, and then it turns out to be as boring as hell. And once again, I've seen very little from these two teams to worry about.

Edit: 0-0 bore draw - and both teams booed off. :laugh

Boring game yes, but both teams look solid defensively. If they can defend like that during the knock-out stages both of them should make it to the semi's at least.

Clearly both teams were playing for a draw and whenever the chances would come they would try and make use of it. Had it been a knockout match, both teams would have produced an awesome game.

I'm not too sure what people expected from the Brazil-Portugal game. Both teams were through (although Portugal weren't officially), both teams played their natural game, and both teams were defensively solid. Brazil dominated possession and played a patient game while Portugal sat deep and defended well (although switched off once when Nilmar got through) and tried to hit them on the counter.

Would have preferred if the game was played in the second round of group matches where there will be much more at stake than now.
