Harder??

Hi all

I am playing ricky ponting international cricket 2007 on slogger mode and realistic and it is soooo easy i can bowl a whole team out for under 30 runs is there any way of making it harder????

Well Formula1 has claimed he has made a way of making it harder, look in his thread.

But if your playing on PC you can edit the stats and stuff so the AI is more difficult.

try playing test mode for a start, even thats easy tho. Turn the bowls aiming circle off when u bat.

I think some of those are ridiculous. No straight drives? No lofted shots? Walk if they drop a catch? Thats just silly and certainly ain't cricket. Turning the aiming rectile off when batting is all u need to use and maybe turning the radar and pitch point marker if u want to make it real hard.

play at test difficulty. Slog is the easiest.

the no straight drives means just don't hit every boundary traight down the ground coz they never put any one there. no lofted shots is so you just can't hit sixes. i get caught on lofted shots all the time anyway so i would prefer not to do any. and walk if they drop it was just an idea. idon't do that. as i said befrore its not for every one but the field setting make it pretty hard to begin with. so you don't have to do all of them just use ones that you think will make it harder

it started out as just afew things like the field setting but then BLIC07 was soooo much easier than 05 so then more things came about.

i agree.all you got to do is play at test level and turn the bowling marker off.after you have mastered this then try other stuff like turning the radar off ,using the editor to lower stats etc.etc.

i have not used the editor as yet but finding it quite challenging to play against the AI with the bowling marker turned off. currently playing a 30 over ODI league(as IND) where i lost the first to ENG,won the 2nd against BAN,lost the third against ZIM,lost the fourth against BER ,won the fifth against NET !!!!!!!

i have been doing these things you have said but too easy plus i have it ps2 so can't edit

Just turn off the pitch marker, play under test difficulty...


if thats not enough, edit the team u play w/ ...to lower stats

Easy solution, don't play BLIC 07
