Well, my season has started pretty dismally with the ball, just 5 wickets in 8 matches at the moment. However with the bat i have found that runs are coming much easier than the last few years, i've already amassed over 100 runs (I think) in those 8 matches.
At the moment I'm playing for my club side, we're in Division 3 and were knocked out of the Middlesex cup in the Quarter-Finals by a very good division 1 side.
I have also played a couple of matches for my school, however due to the fact I have now got myself a saturday job in a local shop, I have fallen out of favour with the coach, who now refuses to play me in the A's, in which I have played in since joining the school.
My club have also noticed that I had a pretty good season with the ball last year, it says on the club noticeboard that I picked up 38 runs in 23 matches with an economy rate of 4 and a half. Rewarding me with a place in one of the Adult sides, and considering I'm only U15 at the moment, that's pretty good. (I think it may also be because they are significantly struggling to get 3 sides out on a Sunday)
So with all that out of the way, I'll be giving you results and my performances from each match that I play in.
I hope you enjoy it, and maybe some of you can give me some tips on what I can do to get my bowling up to the standard it was last season.
