If your thread or post has been deleted, do not, I repeat DO NOT, start a thread about it. It will only be closed, and you won't get your answer.
The correct thing to do is to PM a moderator of the forum. If you do not get a satisfactory answer to your query, PM a global moderator or an admin.
The most common reason recently for threads being deleted is that they are news threads that consist of a complete article from elsewhere. This is a breach of copyright, and hence any threads that do this will naturally be deleted.
Also, can you please make sure that any news threads you post go in the appropriate forum where it exists. For example, a thread refering the forum members to an article about Younis Khan refusing the Pakistan captaincy goes in the Cricket News forum, and should contain either an article written by yourself, or a small section of an article, contained in quote tags, with a link to the full article. More rules on that can be found in the clearly marked thread in the Cricket News forum, which also applies to news posted anywhere on the forum.
