having problems with edited exe patch - which changes bowling and batt

I downloaded and used the patched c2002.exe in the game and I am having couple of issues.

1. the stadiums are all wrong. I select to play in Lords and end up in Cape Town instead.

2. the sound in the game blanks out after the match starts and I cant hear anything.

Has anyone else experience this problem. the batting is great the whole thing is much harder to play. but without these two items i dont know if the patch will be enjoyable? can anyone find a solution for this.

<span style='color:#000000ost_uid0'>Anand, the reason you are experiencing these problems are because the exe that was edited by me was the one which has mapped the World Cup to be played in SA and ZIM. This can be overcome by editing the original exe as mentioned in the other topic "Excellent breakthrough I suppose".

I am not sure if people are going to beleive this but a change by chance I continued to make in exe changed the pitch type for world cup to Dusty or Hard (not sure). Worldseries to Normal and the test matches to green. I will need to review what are the changes that I made and mention it here. Also updating mod to nulls or Zeroes produces the target from cpu bang on when you bowl. This simply means that the cpu will either defend or go for shots rather than just pushing the ball, I will post more on this one shortly.</span>

Also I noticed that you play an over, save it, exit C2k2 and restart the game again you will notice that the sound and commentry will have come back.

thanks for the help kiwi. I did not know that these were the patched exes for moving the worldcup to southafrica. So I guess things should be ok if I installed that patch and then reinstalled your exes also. I will do that.
