Hi i need help with cricket 2005

Hi i just installed cricket 2005 i have a amd athlon 1.46 ghz processor and radeon 9550 graphics card.I go to run cricket it wouldnt run it just got back out of it wouldnt even open it up i installed directx c off the disc but i go to the diagnostic tool for directx but it says im running direct x b.So please help me as to why i cant run the game the only 2 things i can think of as to why the game wont run r i need to update direct x and update my graphics card drivers.But icant think of anything else that could cause the game not to play thank you
