C2K5 Doest open!

Hi, just bought cricket 2005 and installed it. When i run it the Cricket 2005 screen comes up but after that my mouse goes on top left corner of the screen and it goes back to desktop! Please help and tell me what im supposed to do.

My pc specs are:-

System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2 Service Pack 1
Computer: AMD Athlon(tm)XP 2400+
2.00ghz
256MB Ram
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500
Current Display Mode:- 1024x768(32bit) (60HZ)

Do you run it via clicking on the quick launch icon or by going into the C2K5 folder on your hard drive?

I had a similar problem but mine was to do with starting the game using quick launch but then i went into the C2K5 folder and clicked on the Cricket2005.exe and the game launched up fine.

It worked after you restarted the computer? Thats odd, cause I just ignore that prompt and play the game.

I always restart after installing a game, because like you I have been in situations where they didn't work but after a reboot, they did, perfectly.
