Hitting sixes

What balls can be hit for six? Ive noticed, from the VERY few times Ive managed it, that Im almost guaranteed a six if the ball pitches around off stump, for a right handed batsman. Is there any other deliveries that can be sure to clear the
fielders?

Of course not...even a horrible ball needs to be timed. If you want a six hitting experience, play with the "Mad Hitter" gameplay patch by Kamrandir (sp?)

Edit: Better yet, make your own personal patch using the "easy AI editor", however, please check the rules on releasing the patch first because Im 90% that you're not allowed to.

Hey, why don't you post all your questions in one thread, instead of making so many?

Back to your question, you need to get settled before playing big shots. Hit the shift button, and try hitting it straight (down/right, or down/left). Sixes against spinners is a much easier thing to do.

I agree with 'cricket lover' first try regular shots or try playing on one pitch (same texture may be any like hard/green/dusty/dry/wet/normal) because accordingly timing will differ. Then if the batsman is like V.Shewahg,Tendulkar they can easily put the ball across boundary line.The best shot would be down+left key (simultaneoulsy).

True thats the best way to learn how to hit sixes but its easy to hit sixes on normal or hard pitches other then wet one or dusty and most of all u need timing so play some rolling shots at the beginning of the innings and then when the batsman confidence level go up u can try to hit sixes.
