Hong Kong Super Sixes

By all round skills I take you mean aggressive batting. Cause you sure as hell can't learn how to bowl in twenty20. Only thing you would learn is how to get bashed. :)

I did not mean to say so..andrew. ;)
Just putting in what I knew.

Anyways,it would be better if India plays more of Twenty20 domestically as it will help improve the all-rounder 's skills and hone them for the future
I don't see Twenty20 as a way of honing anybody's skills to be honest. That's what tests are for. Twenty20s are just good for the public's enjoyment.

a bowler can learn how to bowl at the death if he plays 20-20 cricket because in 20-20 every over is like bowling at the death, but he'll only try to contain the batsmen rather than take wickets..

Yeah thats what india can do.
if they learn to bowl at the death and restrict the batsmen in twenty 20then they surely can in international cricket.

you really can help going for runs during the death overs in the sub-continent, but yes if indian bowlers play 20-20 they will improve to some extent.
from next year a national 20-20 competiton should be introduced during the off season..

man they should have it in the season itself.
They actually have no season.
No crowds at the grounds.
Maybe hard-hitting format of the Twenty20 on a league basis may help.
It certainly did help the Indian Hockey by the introduction of the Premier Hockey League.
See no reason why it should not help Indian Cricket in the same way.

The problem is the damage may have already been done before the death. Its no good being 300 off 40 overs and being good at the death. You have to take wickets.
