Hey, lets share our views on practice format.

Well, coming to me, 12 members would be divided into three groups, four each.
First group will be Batting, Second group will provide bowlers and third group will just field.
First group will play for 4/ 8/ 12 overs based on availability of time and then, group B gets on to bat.
When Group B will be batting, Group C will be bowling and Group A will be fielding.
And it repeats on..
This was introduced by me in our club which is now a great hit.

May I know how do you team practices??

We hang around the pitch, bowl an over each, swap around fielding positions. Pad up if we get the batsman out. While we wait we talk about porn and ways to trip over our lanky friend Stephen.

Great innit'?

In our academy we've got around 28 Guys!

Two Groups Juniors and Seniors..Above 14 Seniors..Below 14 Juniors...

Juniors have a different area where they practice and we seniors practice in our area...

Well Our group of Seniors has 15 Guys...

First the opener of the team bats first in the net..Then it goes order wise...Bowlers keep on bowling till the end...

After that we've got some fitness Drills!

Friday's we've got Physical Endurance..No nets that day!All Physical Fitness training and a bit of catches and fielding!
SUnday's we go for other activities like Trekking etc..

2 nets.

6-7 bowlers on each of em. switch em up, or do w/e. you can bowl in which ever 1.

after every 1 is done batting, we go do some fielding. in 3 groups.

1st just warm up, slow and close catches, then grounding, and throwing.

then who ever fields on the line takes high catches, close in fielders go do their fielding.

they just do a lot a diving and stuff, thats what i see them doing, when i am with the line fielders

Just normal nets, 2-3 nets depending on the turnout, usually two, with a fast bowlers net, and the spinners/medium pacers in the other. The really good spinners sometimes slip into the quicks net, and the worse batsmen go into the slower net, and the better batsman into the other.

TBH, we never use nets as that doesn't allow us field.
We have two nets which will be used by the visiting team on match days.
We just two holes behind both the ends of a pitch.
Whenever we practice, we keep a frame with the help of those holes on both the ends so that one stops the ball if the batsman leaves and the other one acts a sight screen for batsman.
Usually, those two holes are present on inner circle so that a bowler can have his run up.
we close them while match is going on.
One group on either side of pitch. No Straight drives.
but for straight drive practice, we use bowling machines at the nets where we play in the end which is not left open.

My teams training is the same as Jake's. But we swap the batsman over half way through so they can get used to playing both quicks and spinners.

That was grade, so 4th graders aren't against 1st graders and stuff. For rep, we swap over.

We have about 25-30 people turn up to our training sessions. Everyone is sorted into two groups, depending on what grade they play (1st and 2nd grade in one group, 3rd and 4th grade along with the U17s in the other).

One group is sent out to perform fielding drills for 90 minutes (training goes for 3 hours) while the other is divided amongst three nets, with three-four bowlers per net. These groups swap after an hour and a half.

1 hour of fielding/batting drills then usually nets for an hour but we don't always do nets sometimes we play an indoor cricket game if theres to many to do nets i.e if about 18 people turn up we can't do nets because there is only two nets

exact same, word for word except that some of the old guys go home as soon as they are done batting :facepalm

Net sessions, fielding drills.
Quite a lot of strength training and fitness.
And some more specific professional coaching every so often throughout the season.

Standard practices are just 1-2 nets, depending on the demand for the nets. Then we of course have one group of 4 or 5 bowlers for each net, and we have 2 batsmen each net with 3 balls each, and we keep rotating. Then, we do some fielding, usually just high catches and then some flat catches.

But sometimes, our insane captain thinks that it's our fielding that letting us down when we can't even bat all the overs or stop the opposing team from totally spanking us to all corners of the ground. So instead of net sessions, sometimes all we do is high catches which are a complete waste of time when we are fairly decent at high catches.

Small team, so only 7-8 of us show up per practice. Very simply, one guy keeps, one guy bats, the rest bowl and field around.

Then when we do fielding, we all stand far apart in a circle, and just hurl the ball at each other. Throw it flat, high, everywhere.

Sometimes we do a small 4 vs. 4 match to test out skills in match situations.

All this happens with the tapeball and in a small parking lot, BTW :p
