How to Increase Uploading speed?

My uploading speed is too low these days. My download speed is okay but uploading speed is very low. It takes more than hour for uploading only 5 MB file: can anyone tell me how can I increase my uploading speed??

There is no "way" to increase upload speed. Maybe there is some problem from the ISP's end. Why don't you call and ask them.
It might be an issue with the modem/router though, try restarting.

I once had this problem which was solved with a firmware upgrade.

Which broadband service are you using? BSNL/MTNM, Airtel, Reliance or other.

I just increased our upload and download speed. I phoned up Virgin, i was currently on 2mb @?17.99 per month/cable. Rubbish deal really. I said that Sky has offered us 6mb broadband cheaper than what we were paying for 2mb, so they upped us to 10mb for the same price as what we pay now.

Sky never offered us this deal, but i thought it was worth a shot. But, to be fair, Sky do have a similar deal floating around somewhere, so it was not all lies.

No, its not fraud. Just a little white lie. Sky are offering a similar deal, and seeing as Virgin know we have Sky +, it was worth doing.

Going from 2mb to 10mb has been such a huge difference. And most importantly, i can now host online games where more than 1 player is involved.

Indeed, some telcos have whole departments dedicated to keeping customers on the hook. If you ring up your ISP and tell them you're going to go with someone else, that's when a lot of power to offer discounts suddenly activates for the customer assistant.

you should buy a bigger computer and Modems to increase your upload speed..

I have and also I have increase my broadband speed and hopefully uploading speed too
