Then first learn Photoshop. And forget about specular, bump and color maps. Thats not your cup of tea at this moment. You have to learn the tool(photoshop) first then think about playing with specular maps etc.

I know the basics of photoshop, all i need to know is how to create a specular map from the image

Because I tried to change the colour(grip) of the ingnite without change the specular map and it came out shiny in the game
