Ok mate suggestion i personally feel any of dell laptop in price of 55 to 60.All dell models look awesome and they are stylish i suggest dell is right option.;)

I've owned/used 5 laptops in the last 7 years or so. The brands I've experienced are Compaq, Toshiba (tablet), Lenovo (tablet) and HP. I've enjoyed my experience with HP the most. However, HP's tend to overheat a lot, especially the AMD models.

Dell is a pretty well-respected laptop company (probably the best rated) so you can probably get started there. Go online to the dell website and customize the laptop and see what kind of set-up you can get for your budget.

Also, what are you looking for from this laptop.

Thanks, actually i have some models in mind.
HP Touchsmart tx2 is the one.
HP HDXX16 And HDXX18 are the other two.
I haven't at all given attention to Dell[No one seem to suggest me]
I need a complete gaming and multimedia experience as well as the speedy one.
Touchsmart tx2 only has the AMD processor so that is the worry[Otherwise i would prefer it]
As My Bro used AMD model of Compaq and as you said it gets overheated.

Yup, don't go with the AMD model of the HP. Mine has started overheating and turning it off if I don't elevate it. Seems they haven't placed the airvents properly. I'll be investing in a cooling pad soon.

If you want a gaming/multimedia experience, you'll probably have to sacrifice a lot in terms of portability. That said, the default AMD rig is pretty good for gaming (you'll have to invest a bit with Intel).

I'll check out those HP models. The Dell XPS range is supposed to be pretty good.

Well Sohum,i checked out the XPS 16 and customised it and i have it in my bugdet.
It goes to about 65k and that is ok for me.
But i read the reviews about the Dell XPS and there were more negatives than the positives.
The efficiency and services in Dell seem to be the problem.
Any review on the models which i listed?

You have good budget. I will suggest go for Sony Viao. If you want good support facility then HP. Dell will be last as they hardly give proper support in India.

Get an Alienware.

You can't go wrong with Alienware, simple as that.

Compare Gaming Laptops Custom-Built For PC Gamers - Alienware
will try out this one mate.
You have good budget. I will suggest go for Sony Viao.
To be honest my first preference was Sony Viao, but when i saw HP configurations they were much much better than the viaos and even cheaper.
It is just the looks we pay for viao i think.

Viao is more stable, has flash drive and looks cool.

I have HP too and it has not given any problemo. Its up to you.

It is advisable to go for Intel processor based laptops cause AMD can cause heating issues......

you'll be able to get a good model of either HP or Dell within that range.....
if you are opting for dell then
go for DELL studio series

TBH, Acer Aspire 5738G is the best model currently.
Its the latest from Acer, and a superb model.
I suggest you to go for that.
