Big achievement for England as they win their maiden Champions Trophy by beating the unbeaten (before this match) team of the tournament with utter ease! The fought hard and kept winning. Aggressive, fearless cricket, just what Morgan needed from his bunch of men to deliver in tournaments. Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow were the stars with the bat while Adil Rashid registered historic figures and had great support from the pacers especially Chris Woakes.
Delivered above their weights! Even I did not expect them to reach Semis but they exceeded my expectations. Their campaign was starred by power-packing performances from Hashim Amla with the bat while the pair of Hashim Amla and Morne Morkel took care with the ball.

Ab de Villiers and du Plessis wickets were the turnaround. They didnt perform well enough. The other team did good I feel we were a good hundred runs short against a very good side and on their turf.
