I used to like him once. He was meant to be a dangerous batsman who had every shot in his book and was calm enough to put the best bowlers of the world under pressure (I am not talking about Dale Steyn, he was just terrible against him ). Yep. Why didn't he re-sign? Did he not want to, or was he not offered a contract? Don't know what it was that he was doing differently than other fielding coaches, but it worked. We need him, and now more than ever.

I'm amazed at how much and the duration for which SA have struggled against wrist spin. It's almost as if they don't play Tahir and Shamsi in the nets or don't work hard enough or tactically enough at their game. That Gibson fellow needs sacking immediately just on this ground.
