First of all, this isn't a story as such, that's why I've instead posted it in the ICC forum.. basically, I've started a new save as Kent on Normal difficulty and I'll just be doing some season reports... also using this to keep track of progress, and signings, etc. I'll be following a traditional FM format for updates, for anybody who has played that.

Kent - Season 2009
County Championship: Division 2
Challenge Trophy: Group B
Twenty Over Cup: South
Pro League: Division 2

Summary
A strong season for Kent saw us finishing first in the Second Division of the County Championship to secure promotion for the top division next season, largely thanks to Azhar Mahmood who proved to be our main strike bowler as well as a very handy lower order batsman, contributing runs frequently. We performed well in the Challenge Trophy before losing to eventual champions Durham in the semi-finals, and we held on through some close finishes in the Pro League to finish first in the Second Division, earning promotion for next season. The only blemish on our season proved to be our Twenty20 performances, in which we were well and truly flogged, winning just one match. However, I hardly cared about this tournament and it was no big deal. Frederik Klokker proved to be a very handy signing, as he scored over 1000 first class runs for the season at an average of 51.

Lot of information there. A fair few transfers as well. Klokker does pretty well I reckon in the game.

Disappointed you let Amjad Khan go. :( Looks good though. Keep it up.
