Well the only way I'd get that right is if I got a serious cash flow boost. I don't have that much money to play with. Most of it has been used to buy those players there already, Greenwood, Brown and Barnard. and if you think some of those guys are crap, I had quite a few that are actually worse than them. But I'm not doing too badly in my league, currently I'm second I think and have only lost one game.

This was my starting line-up.
Spiller
Furlong
Sparrow
Huis
Gore
Barnard
Drost
Browne
Stockdale
De wouw
Greenwood

Note: I don't exaclty play a great keeper, since sometimes I have needed the batting depth, although my bowling aspect of the squad has greatly improved and is quite a force in my league.

Batting order, bowling order and tactics, are up to you, you know your guys best, but I'd pick that as your best XI.

Same for you mate - batting order, bowling order and tactics, are up to you, you know your guys best, but I'd pick that as your best XI.

No spin bowler then? Makin is my only one

EDIT: BTW, should I use some of my ?130000 left to expand my ground?

I need some help. These are 3 good bowlers, but only 2 of them can play. Which 2 of these should play on a dusty pitch?

Gerry Burn - 23 yo, BT Rating=7,478
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: feeble
Fielding: respectable

Good allround spinner, and a very good fielder. The fielding is important to my team as it's not a very good fielding team. He does take a few catches. I've only got about 6 mediocre+ fielders, the rest are poor.

Phil Matthews - 23 yo, BT Rating=6,346
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: competent
Fielding: abysmal

He's a high respectable bowler, and he's a spinner so the stamina shouldn't make too much of a difference.

Stephen Cummings - 24 yo, BT Rating=9,887
RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: feeble Concentration: feeble
Bowling: proficient Consistency: woeful
Fielding: feeble

Good fast bowler, can bat a bit as well. Usually plays for me when the pitch is anything but dusty.

At the moment I'm going inclined to play the two spinners. What do you think?

Ah right, sorry, didn't look at bowling types. I'd only play him on Dusty pitches, and keep the ones I said for everything else. And only spend money on your ground if it's full or close to full on a regular basis now.

Adarsh -

On a Dusty Pitch, I'd go for the two spinners, Burn and Matthews.

Yep, that's what I'll probably do. I don't really like it though, as Cummings will play only half my matches, and he's got really good stats. Bit of a waste really.

Well, Cummings did get hammered for 16 off an over by a Mediocre batsman costing you a match from a winning position...

Oh yeah, forgot about that (conveniently). Pah, it probably serves him right that he can't play for me regularly now. I'll sell him to you for ?400,000. What say ?

Nah, Tuckett, Crouch and Rudi are better. And Atkinson. Drayton and Andrews have never been hammered by batsman 3 skills lower than them for over 10 runs in an over...
