I've been having a bit of a problem making transparent gif images in imageready lately. (I'm pretty sure it started out as an intermittent problem but it now seem permanent).

If I make something with a transparent background, when I reload it, each frame has a white background.

I've had a look at all the obvious places but cant seem to find a setting anywhere. Does anyone have any ideas?

try making the original image into a .png file (interlaced) and then edit in imageready, works for me.

I was actually going to suggest that. If your working with JPEG's then that is probably the problem.

Main problem is they are animated gifs (sorry forgot to mention that) If they were jpegs or pngs I'd be using photoshop ;)

you get the image you want to be first animation as a .png in photoshop and then > to imageready? and repeat for al lslides

I'll give it a go, but it used to work, I cant even edit existing animated gif's now they all have white backgrounds where they were transparent.
