This is a quick tutorial on how to make images transparent without all the complicated alpha channels.
Special thanks to Das Vicky for teaching me this technique.
---------------------------------------------------------
Programs required
1.fshed005
2. Fshed005 other image type plugin
3. Graphics Editor - Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Photoshop (I will be using Photoshop C2 and there will be some examples for Paint Shop Pro 9)
----------------------------------------------------------

1. Create a new image that has a transparent background.

Paintshop pro users

2. Create a new layer.

3. Create your image, any bit you want transparent don't go over the boarder.

4. If you want your image to be semi transparent change the opacity. Make sure you click the image layer that you want to be semi transparent.
(Note: Make sure you have your layer tool bar open as shown below)

5. Save the image as PSP for Paintshop Pro users and PSD for Photoshop users.

6. Open Fshed

7. Open the image type you are replacing (i.e Kit, TV graphics)

8. If you have installed the other image type plugin correctly you will have an option as shown when you click "tools" > Graphic importer should show up.
Click that and a box will appear. Click open.

9. When you click open the image below will appear. Change the image type as shown and find your image you saved in step 5

10. Save your new fsh file as the same name as when you opened it.

11. You're done!

You will notice the transparency has been kept and any semi transparent part is a brighter colour when shown in fshed and if you click the view actual button in fshed, you can see the exact same image as the one you saved in step 5.

Image below - left image is normal fshed preview, right image view actual.

Which program did you try to open it with? It should open with Photoshop.
