KARACHI: The blind cricket teams of Pakistan and India will play five matches against each other in the series beginning from Feb. 20.
It will be the first cricket series between the blind cricket teams of the archrivals Pakistan and India with official backing.
The Indian blind cricket team is scheduled to cross through the Wagah border on February 18 and will open the series with a one-day game in Lahore two days later. They will play the next two one-day games in Karachi (February 22 and 24),
and a match at Sheikhupura on February 27 and the last at Rawalpindi on
February 29.
The main aim of this tour is to raise funds for the deserving charities connected with
the blinds of Pakistan and India, said a member of the organising committee. The funds will be used to treat around 100 blind people from India in Pakistan.
