Lalit Modi, the Chairman of Indian Premier League, did ask the people to get the venues fixed so that he can plan up the schedule.
So, the teams owners did plan up something like this:-
Deccan Chargers will play their home games in Hyderabad.
Royal Challengers Banglore will play their home games in Hyderabad.
Chennai Super Kings will play their home games in Chennai.
Mumbai Indians will play their home games at Navi Mumbai.
Kolkata Knight Riders will play their home games at Kolkata.
Delhi Daredevils will play their home games at Navi Mumbai.
Kings XI Punjab will play their home games at Kolkata.
Rajasthan Royals will play their homegames at Chennai.

Only four venues were engaged because of Security problem.

So, Lalit Modi appoint some people to prepare the venues.

After somedays, the stadiums were ready and looking something Like this.
Hyderabad:-

Chennai:-

Navi Mumbai:-

Kolkata:-

Then Lalit Modi, the chairman said that the opening Ceremony would be at Hyderabad and released the schedule.

(I will give it to you later)

Then, each and every team did unveil their Kits, promotional songs etc.

Now it was said that the league would start on 18th of April, 2008 and would end up on 1st of June.

The tickets were kept to sale, and in Hyderabad, the opening Ceremony tickets were sold on the day they started selling.
The demand Mr. Modi got for the IPL was great.
No one expected that great demand for tickets, and even, it broke the world record of fastest tickets sale.
The previous best was 14 hours for Premier League Final and now it was rewritten to 7 hours.

Now, Mr.Modi did arrange a small Parade in all the cities in which IPL was on.

First, everyone did meet at Mumbai and started their journey of parade.
Mr.Modi, In Navi Mumbai Lit up the IPL lamp in D.Y.Patil Sports Complex in the presence of 90,000 Spectators.
Then after that, they moved on in an open top bus which moved slowly to airport in presence of some millions of people from Maharastra region.

Each And every team moved on in Alphabetical order. And on their busses, their respective promotional song was being played and the Cheeries were dancing infront of the bus..

The buses were decorated with their own pattern.

Before all these things happened, Mr.Modi, Along with his technical team did board the IPL bus with the Lamp.

The atmosphere there was something like festival. Everyone did attend that parade at Mumbai and made it a huge success.
From there, they moved on to Kolkata by air.
And in Kolkata, the atmosphere looked electric. Everyone did cheer for their Bengali team, the KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS.
There they spent nearly 8 hours and finally left for Chennai by Water.
There was a huge crowd near the Port on the banks of River Hoogli.

Everyone gave a grand send off to their team, KKR.

The journey from there to Chennai was a 14 hour journey on water which they safely finished.

In Chennai, they received a warm welcome from the Tamilians. They mainly cheered their team, the Chennai Super Kings.

After spending a day there in Chennai, they moved on finally to Hyderabad through rail. They went via, Chennai Egmore, Arrakkonam, Renigunta Tirupati, Cuddaph (Kadapa), Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar, and then to Kachiguda Hyderabad.

There, they directly entered the crowd at Kachiguda Railway Station.

Finally, they reached Hotel Grand Kakatiya International at Begumpet and then the following day, everyone spent in their Practice at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Lal Bahadur Sastry Stadium (Fateh Maidan), Gachibowli Sports complex, Gymkhana Grounds and RRC ground.

A small stage performance was performed by Enrique Iglesias on a stage which was named Belfast. He performed it extra as his Indian Tour didn't consist of this stage performance.
Its was out standing. All the players were up there enjoying that and some even danced..
Enrique Iglesias Bailamos - Live in Belfast
Enrique Iglesias - Escape - Live in Belfast

They were rocking as he even said that it was world's first even greatest crowd response which was given at Hyderabad..It was the day before the opening ceremony. On huge crowd response, Enrique directly agreed to perform in the Opening Ceremony.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Well, the historical day of the First Indian Premier League came up. The opening ceremony was scheduled at 06:00PM IST. But as everyone were eager to see, the stadium was filled with total crowd at 04:00 PM IST.
Then the Pre and post match discussions show called "Xtraa Innings" started for the people who're watching the match in Television.
The program went something like this.
Karo ya Maro...

Eek Desh... Eek Junoon...
eklwew.jpg

And may I know how the crowd is responding to the DJ beats??

ouz1h3.jpg
Gautam:- If the DJ plays a small sound, the total stadium gets raised up in that way that no other crowd of Cricket is as best as this crowd.

eklwew.jpg
Gaurav:- Well, Thanks Gautam, Mithali has a question to you..

wb6jc6.jpg
Mithali:- Hey, good evening Gautam, actually my question was when does Enrique perform tongiht..??

ouz1h3.jpg
Gautam:- The plan is still tentative. Everyone has arrived but I think what they're waiting for is the night to come on as the effect of crackers would be rocking at nights than days..

wb6jc6.jpg
Mithali:- Ok, Thanks.

eklwew.jpg
Gaurav:- Ok Thanks Gautam, we'll contact you later.
Now Mithali, which team do you think is a strongest team??

wb6jc6.jpg
Mithali:-Well, each team has its own quality, If we come to today's hosts, the Chargers, They've Roy, Boom Boom, Gibbsy, Gilly and Rohit along with their skipper Laxman, Each one are the match winners of their own kinds and coming to the domestic attack of the hosts, they've Venugopala Rao, Ambati Rayudu, Paidikalva Vijay Kumar, etc etc who even are the players who recently lifted the Vijay Hazare trophy where Hyderabad won.
And coming to Kolkata side, They've Bendron McCullum who is a great wicketkeeper and an Opener to New Zealand. He even is a first man to hit a 150 for Otago. They've Chris Gayle, Ishant Sharma, Ricky Ponting, Shoaib Akthar, Umar Gul..

eklwew.jpg
Gaurav:- Whom on are you going to bet on??

wb6jc6.jpg
Mithali:- The Chargers as they've edge in the factor of the crowd support (And even My support;);)

eklwew.jpg
Gaurav:- Ok Thanks for your time Mithali, Now lets move on to the stadium as Shankar Mahadevan gonna rock you "Jhoom Barabar...."

The post Match Presentation was taken up and this was all Ganguly had to say:-
Everything in DC and KKR was same.. But if we had got some more wickets, we even would have got a chance to win the match but the opening stand of 148 in this format is great. But we had great effort from Gayle as he hit 69 runs which kept the hopes on match as even 17 per over from last five was chased in this format.

This was all Gilchrist had to say after the match:-
Great game, Actually I give the total credit to Gibbsy as he co operated with me for the 148 run stand. And if we had hit 150 without a loss of wicket, it would have been a record. But I am happy for what has happened today. And I even give the bowling credit to all he bowlers as everyone performed equally. Fidel was Li'l bit costly but no problem, we had Symonds doing the work for him.

And the Man of the Match was:-Adam Gilchrist

The total crowd shouted like anything as it was their captain who was the MOTM.

Next Game:-
Royal Challengers Banglore
VS
Kings XI Punjab

At Hyderabad.

Nice going mate, but for your Scorecard put it in CODE, not QUOTE. It will look proper and not all out of place..

The size of the text has to be adjusted. The commentry can be included in the CODE tag as well. The CODE tag do have few advantages over the QUOTE tag. Next time, try it :)

KKR's struggle continues even here  :p Anyways, a good start for you & Keep it up :clap

you made around a hundred spelling mistakes in the names. A few were De Villiers, Brendon McCullum, Herschelle Gibbs and Ricky Ponting.

Mate, I know it.. But in the Youtube Video, I had no chance of getting rid of the word "Belfast" So, I have created a new stage (in my home:p:p) named belfast..
