Sri Lanka off to a Flyer​

300 runs to win in 50 overs and at runa aball thats what the Sri Lankans needed . Well it was not at all a tough task . Jayasuriya and Udawatte opened the batting for the Lankans . While the young fast bowler Ishant Sharma was given the new ball . Sharam was on the mark with his super bowling . He started the game with a maiden over . It was surprising to see Jayasuriya giving the young lad a lot of respect . RP singh who shared the ball went for just 2 runs of his first over . But as Jayasuriya made his mind to take the attack against the Indians it was very dangerous . Jayasuriya got his first runs with a huge six over third man . Soon in the same over he samshed Sharma for four over mid on . RP Singh was also smashed by Udawatte . Jayasuriya and Udawatte went all attack against the opening bowlers . The both scored in fours and sixes . Jaysuriya smashed 4 fours and 1 six in his 25 runs of 32 balls . While Mahela Udawatte was more aggressive in his small but quick innings of 35 of just 25 balls . His quick fire innings included 2 sixes hit to Manpreet Gony who came as first bowling change and RP Singh . It was Manpreet Gony who got Udawatte bowled by a brilliant yorker for 35 . Sri Lanka lost their first wicket at the score of 63 and already it was more than required run rate . Gony who went for 10 in his first over went for just 2 and a wicket in his second . Ishant Sharma and RP Singh both went for 26 each in their 4 overs . So at the end of 10 overs Sri Lankans had done some damage as they were 64 for 1 . New man Kumar Sangarkkara was not out on 0 .
