Rules of the Tournament
STANDARD T20 Rules
MATCH START TIME: 8:00 PM
ANY GROUND
PITCH CONDITIONS: HARD, DRY, PRISTINE
WEATHER: ALWAYS FINE
Balls over the 6m line for Spin Bowlers / Slow bouncers with Medium Bowlers are strictly prohibited.
No transfers in teams allowed.
No editing of official kits.
No forfeit for any games.
No super over in the league phase
Tournament will consist of LEAGUE STAGE (decided by points), Semi Finals and Finals.
Teams play each other TWICE in a league format.
No league matches taking place within deadline will be counted as VOID.
VOID - No points will be awarded to either team for the league matches
At the end of the league phase, the top 4 teams will qualify for the semifinals.
Semi final 1 : 1 vs 4
Semi final 2 : 2 vs 3
Points awarded in League matches:
Win 4 points
Tie/No result 2 points
Loss 0 points.
In case, teams are tied at the end of the league stage on the basis of points, NRR will be taken into account.
NRR= (RUNS SCORED/number of overs) -(RUNS CONCEDED/number of overs)
If a team is all out within the 20 overs, number of overs will be claculated as 20.
If a team chases down a target in less than 20 overs, the actual number of overs used will be taken into account.
