Planet Cricket IPL 2020 is an Indian Domestic T20 Tournament between 8 franchises based on Indian cities, the tournament will be a played in a round-robin format where each franchise will play with the every other franchise once, consisting of 28 league stage matches, followed by the Playoffs and a Final.

About the Simulator: Simulator to be used is CWSim. Each player has a special ability in this simulator as per his nature of his game.

Squad Rules:
- NEW: Each franchise should have a minimum of 18 players in the squad.
- Each franchise can have a maximum of 20 players in the squad.
- Each franchise can have a maximum of 7 overseas players in the squad.
- Each franchise must have atleast 2 / wicket keepers in the squad.
- Each franchise must have atleast 3 uncapped players in the squad. (Can be overseas uncapped too)
Lineup Rules:
- Every playing 11 can have a maximum of 4 overseas in the line up.
- Every playing 11 should have a designated / wicket keeper in the line up.
- Every playing 11 should have minimum of 1 uncapped player in the line up.
- Every playing 11 should have minimum of 5 bowlers in the line up.
- IMPORTANT: Every player in your squad must play atleast once in the tournament.

- Pure Batsmen and Keepers have only a Batting Special Ability
- Pure Bowlers have only a Bowling Special Ability
- All Rounders have one each, a Batting and a Bowling Special Ability
- Some bowlers who tend to bat a bit may have a Batting Special Ability as well
Slogger - Eg: Rishabh Pant, Chris Gayle, David Warner, etc
The game changers. These players can go berserk and in suitable conditions can score very fast.
Consistent Performer - Eg: Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Shreyas Iyer, etc
They are the ones who will keep on performing but at a slower pace.
Sheet Anchor - Eg: Karun Nair, Hanuma Vihari, Ross Taylor, etc
Your team in trouble. Sheet Anchors will try to pace down things and make innings stable.
Finisher - Eg: MS Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, David Miller, etc.
Coming down the order. Smacking some huge ones out of the park and celebrating the winning shots.
Pinch Hitter - Eg: Sunil Narine, Rashid Khan, Mohammad Shami, etc
Hit out or get out. But might make things messy if the bowler is too strong as expect a lots of play and miss.

When going gets tough, they will not only bowl tight overs but also pick up important wickets.
Mysterious Spinner - Eg: Imran Tahir, Sunil Narine, R Ashwin, etc
They are really mysterious to be frank. Pitch conditions favor the spinners and they become nightmare for the batsmen.
Old Ball Specialist - Eg: Chris Morris, Andre Russel, Vijay Shankar, etc
As the ball starts wearing off in the later part of the innings, they will make the full use of it.
Death Bowler - Eg: Jasprit Bumrah, Dwayne Bravo, Jofra Archer, etc
Toe crushing yorkers all the way. Very handy ones to prevent last over slogs.

There might be some ambiguity for some players.
Eg: Hardik Pandya can be alloted Slogger as well as Finisher, in such a case, since he is a lower order player, Finisher special ability will be taken into consideration.
Same goes for Pat Cummins, he bowls with the new ball as well as in Death, but since he is more dominant with the new ball, he will be alloted New Ball Specialist.
