But he isn't injured. Only injured players can be replaced. From the end of the ODI series against New Zealand there have been question if he is coming to the IPL or playing domestic cricket at home and he chose staying at home so he cant be replaced.

Ajit Agarkar - LINK. - calf strain. - Should take part in IPL.

Ashish Nehra - LINK. - Rib Injury - out for two weeks. Should play when back.

Gautam Gambhir - LINK. - Hamstring - Should be back in the team very soon.

MS Dhoni - LINK. - advised rest for few days - Should be back in the team in 2-3 days.

Graeme Smith - LINK. - Broken Finger - Out of the Tournament

Dimitri Mascarenhas - LINK. - Ankle injury - Out of the Tournament.

Brett Lee - LINK. - Elbow Injury - Expected to rejoin the team this week.


Please make your request for changes looking at this list, because the players you think are injured might play the next match and score a hundred.

Interestingly, Mumbai Indian’s Sanath Jayasuriya is contesting in the general election to be held on April 8 from Rajapaksa’s party. Jayasuriya is apparently the only player who has been allowed to leave India while the IPL is on to return to Sri Lanka and campaign in Matara, his hometown and from where he is contesting.

Well I have heard talk about this, but he is not injured, however the circumstances are different, I believe the Board should meet to discuss, and we will be having drinks after, oh and bush tea for the Mac(s):rtfl
