Hi,

Im looking into buying an Apple ipod soon, but I have to ask something, Is it Free to download music for it from iTunes?

Because some of my friends say it is free through iTunes, where as, some people are saying its not.

If it isn't how much is it per song and Album?

AFAIK, it is 99cents per song. There may be some offers which allow free downloads.

Most music on the iTunes store is not free. It's US$0.99 per song and they usually have discounts if you buy the whole album. You can, however, rip your own CD's and put them onto your iPod--it's not necessary for you to get all your music from the iTunes store.

ipod can play anything. itunes will convert wma files.
