Replacement to Payne found

The International Regulators of Cricket Grounds (IRCG) has unveiled Mr. Chez Spin as its cheif executive.

Mr. Spin replaces Mr. Lee Payne, who resigned from the role on Wednesday.

The replacement means the IRCG should be able to fulfil their contract to select hosts for the Planet Cricket XI's first class competition.

A rebrand of the Planet Cricket XI is also expected shortly.

First Meeting with new IRCG Chief

New chief executive of the IRGC, Chez Spin, today gave his first interviews to the press over the current international ground situation. He revealed a plethora of details.

Firstly he announced that his own ground was to be sold, allowing a new manager to enter. The first to apply would get the position with full IRCG membership. This was to allow impartiality of management.

Next he gave a warning to ground owners. Any grounds with no services within the next 3 days would be delisted and new grounds would be selected. I rule CG, Murieston, The Corner, The Snow Oval and Sharjah Cricket Ground (SCG) are all at risk currently.

Finally he confirmed current ground and financial arrangements. He confirmed that all current IRCG grounds had a capacity of 5000, all exactly equal. He also announced that now grounds could be upgraded in capacity, for a cost of course, and that soon new ground improvements would be allowed for the first time.
