Is it possible to create a custom team from scratch?

My query is that is it possible to create an entirely new team with customized players without editing or replacing a team and its players already present in the game?

This feature was missing in BLIC'05,isn't it?One had to edit the players of an available team to make his own team,isn't it?

Yes, but I think I heard somewhere that we will be able to make like 14 created players which means a whole squad so that's why I think that we can create a new team from scratch.

You can create upto 16 custom players. You can also create 2 custom teams, although these must be made up of the 16 custom players and/or the existing players.
