Jagmohan Dalmiya has been elected president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), a position from which he was unseated in December 2006 following charges of embezzlement. Dalmiya, a former president of both the ICC and the BCCI, defeated the incumbent, Prasun Mukherjee, to secure a seat on the Indian board.

Actually this is great news.I really want to see Dalmiya at the helm of affairs again.The Pawar regime was the worst ever in BCCI's history.

He was corrupt yes, but compared to the lunatics the BCCI has right now, he is almost like a saint. And he was, at the end of the day, a great administrator and dint go around muscling his board's financial power.

What he said was he would quit if the apparent threat calls to his family to force him to show support for Dalmiya in the elections dint stop.

Atlast finally something happened good in CAB Due to that idiot Prasum Mukherjee we were going loose Manoj Tiwary but now after Dalmiya talked with him Manoj has agreed to play for us again :happy

BCCI should appoint Dalmiya and throw that Pawar out with his so called executives.
