Joypad problems

Is there no back button when you use a joypad? I have been playing happily with my joypad, but every over if I wish to look at a scorecard I have to go over to my keyboard to use the escape key to get back to the game.
Is there a way around this?

I play the game on my notebook and I have the same problem. It depends which menu you are viewing. You can use R1 (I think) to go back, but in the statistics menu you cannot go back, and have to use the ESC key. I use a LogiTech WingMan USB Gamepad.

If you have a gamepad which comes with a keyboard mapping utility (ie. Thrustmaster gamepads come with Thrustmapper) , you can simply assign one of the buttons to the escape key- If it doesn't, I think you'll just have to keep using the keyboard .

I use a PS2 pad with a USB converter. Brilliant for all games except well this slight problem.

Looks like you're out of luck then . But it's not exactly a major problem, I wouldn't be too worried
