KP Gone for the Ashes

Bopara has batted at 3 throughout this Ashes Series and past series' so far anyway.

hey mate by that I meant that Bopara can now bat fearlessly at 3.
All the other times, he might be scared that if he fails 3 or 4 times continuously, KP or some other might come out to bat at 3.

What are you serious mate kp never comes at 3 rather any other batsmen from past years vaughan was fixed at 3 the bell and other but now bopara is fixed at 3 if bell dont come.

I'm starting the "Jimmy Anderson in at number 4" campaign.

Who's with me?

Ah great news, about time the English suffered injuries to their star players during the Ashes. Hauritz confused Bell during the tour match so that should be another easy wicket for him.

Who exactly isn't Bell an easy wicket for?

It's not fair that Australia are now allowed to play with 13 men whereas we only get 9. Bell and Broad are going to prove to be very valuable members to the Australian side.

So when will Freddie get injured again? We need all the help we can get if we are going to lose from here.

I actually reckon Bell will prove us all wrong and step up to the plate. Pietersen was clearly struggling throughout Cardiff and Lords and i'd rather have Bell in there than a man who is clearly hampered by injury.
Hauritz will own him.

Because he was injured...
He still outscored Bopara even though he was playing on one leg and not really bothering to run.

I thought Vaughan retired. I think this is a huge blow. It adds instability now. Pietersen was a key man.

KP would have made runs in one of the next 3 Test at the very least. Plus he has the ability to take away the momentum in one session.

KP would have made pretty 30's in the next two which Aus would have won. Then he would make 90 and 150* in a dead rubber draw at the end.

lol at people saying Pietersen won't matter he is still England's best batsman and the type of player who will pull out a big innings when it is required. Far to many people on planet cricket seem to only judge players on their last innings.
