Just bought this on steam and downloading it now (taking an age :() Loved the demo and think I am gonna love the full game

Anyone got an mp3 link for the safe room music on this game?

Something that's annoyed me about Left 4 Dead 2 is they still haven't tried to do a damn thing with the Survivor's AI! Other than daytime missions, melee weapons and better graphics, maybe one or two new modes, what is different enough about this game to warrant shelling out again, especially as L4D now has loads of community made maps floating around? They could've at least made the game more enjoyable for singleplayer by working a bit on the AI, instead of having them just follow you like a load of flipping ducklings...

MasterBlaster76 added 0 Minutes and 31 Seconds later...

That's something I'll never understand.

Yeah, I agree with you there MB. I guess they've taken up the stance "Oh, we want you to do all the work" but it's a little pathetic when the AI don't have minds of their own and instead just follow you weakly.

Have you played much online? Occasionally I play versus mode against other people, or when there are enough people I do a campaign mode online with my brother, and sometimes other people join.

Also, what's happening with new maps? Have people worked out how to make them yet in L4D2? I haven't been looking around really, so I don't have a clue, but it would be nice to see some more custom maps.. some more indoor ones wouldn't go astray. I think there's a few too many swamp levels in the game, where you just run through the swamp, blasting zombies, it rains a bit, etc.

Anyway, it's still a great game I think (coming from someone who has never played the first) and there's something strangely satisfying about killing zombies... with a shotgun. :spy

how the hell do you lot sit crammed in a small chair looking at a tiny screen when we sit on the couch and play on massive HD TVs

There are pros and cons for both. If you want to start a console vs PC thing then prepare for me to own you

Hmarka, you have a valid point... but seriously, using a controller is way harder than just using a mouse. It's ten times harder to aim, you can't change direction quickly.. I'd say that the big TV might be the only thing you have going for you.. ;)
