The Glasgow Grubbers 7.5 runs per over

I will update and share the player stats sheets tomorrow.

Round three of group matches info under the spoiler.

No games tomorrow.

Please update your third round pitches if you have a home game. Update your teams too. If not, as said in the past, I will use what was the most recent.

I'm going to do one match from each group over this week. Break on Thursday. Saturday and Sunday (unless for some reason I have plans, I might just do 4/5 games again). So basically, if you have a home game, update your pitch, update your team no later than 1 hour before match). Of course things might change, I might wake up wanting to do nothing but bury my face in a pillow for the day. But better to have a plan of action that can be changed.

Tuesday will be:

Early
Twelve Fine Legs v Blocktown Brotherhood (Group C)
Late
Trump's Fringe v P9 Panthers (Group A)
Montreal Midgets v Lucky Lockdown Lunatics (Group B)

Wednesday will be:

Early
Short Leg XI v Lockdown Losers (Group A)
Late
Fire In Babylon v Neptune Gaming (Group B)
The Glasgow Grubbers v San Francisco Suckers (Group C)

Friday will be:

Early
Isolated XI v Ducks XI (Group A)
Thunder v Gilly's Grubs (Group B)
Late
Spartans v (The People's Champions/Heroes) The Lazy Borises

(Early means (stream starting) 10am-1pm UK)
(Late means 6-7:30pm UK)

If you are a home team and those times don't suit you, let me know.

Ooh, first up Tuesday, exciting.

Some choices to make - do we bring Jofra and Roussow back, will Jayasuriya get a run out?

Need to make sure we peak against SFS - they look very strong.
It's easy to say the teams with the most points look the best but...

Blocktown and Suckers is the match up I want to see. Woakes et al v Guptill et al.

Suckers bowling is so good and the batting does more than enough. Blocktown, dominated even without Archer. Guptill looks very good, Stokes is very good bowling wise (has he even batted yet?)

Thunder has an iffy batting line up, but have won two. When matched up with the bowling of Plunkett, Zampa, Green, Rabada, Wahab, it's a tough outfit.

Gilly's Grubs have twice chased big totals. And has the enviable top three of Warner, Dhawan and AB de Villiers.

And Trump's Fringe has big players for the right time. Roy and Perera first match then Chahal and Bumrah next game.

It is not just fun but really interesting seeing the match ups.

Last game of the group too, exciting. If things continue there could be a fair bit riding on it. Need to haul down their RPW too[DOUBLEPOST=1588544329][/DOUBLEPOST]@wasteyouryouth Stokes batted in the 1st group game, was out cheaply... 4 or something like that.

In the warm up and today we won one down, so he didn’t bat. Might push him up the order.

guptill is getting the job done. I could offer my opinion on what you should/I would do with your batters, but you are the opposition so I shall refrain. And I have no wins so what do I know.

I like the top 3 of the warm up, Guptill, Tamim, Roussow. Stokes probably next in...

But as I’ve decided to rotate as you suggested there’ll be at least 1 match where I might go Guptill Roussow Stokes...

Guptill is not being rested

If I rest anyone it's gonna be my worst players. Luckily for me I have lots of choice.

Good to see the Grubs featuring a few times in those stats, been two brilliant chases in a row by the lads. Hopefully the great batting form continues!

Hi guys, during the tournament, have you seen many 'catches' that happen on the boundary but are actually considered 6 with the fielder either standing on it or moving on it after catching it?
