A thought just struck me- would the opposition batters be able to spot the ball in the LSG bowler's hands? The color of the jersey and the cricket ball may interfere, right? Its not the same, but a used cricket ball might be hard to spot with that jersey.
In hindsight, RPSG the group did well when they managed Rising Pune Super Giant. Everything seemed better back then.

I take back my comments on the jersey. It looks YUCK! The shirt alone looked okay, but to club it with that sort of pajamas makes you feel as if they are playing in their night dresses.
Views after the 1st game- The captain has a lot to learn. The team doesn't seem to gel together, even on paper. They have a great squad, but I fear it might take them the better half of this IPL to understand what they need to put out on the field. Bowling is good- definitely need Avesh to be trusted on many occasions; I was surprised he wasnt called in at certain times.
As I mentioned in the main IPL thread, KLR will probably make way if results dont go their way. Sanjv Goenka seems to be a results-oriented person and I feel this team might end up at the bottom this year.

Anyhow, the jersey is pathetic. The previous one was a fresh burst of color. Ideally,feel that the teams need to own a color and stick to it. Or the IPL should make home and away jerseys mandatory. Atleast that way, you will see less of Blue.
