Can we have a step by step guide about how to make adboards, and can the icc adboards be changed?

Adboards are easy to edit if you know how to use Baggi Studios to extract the adboard files, convert to png and then edit. Yes the ICC Adboards can be changed, you just need to replace the Adboards05-08.dds files with whatever you want.

Ta, I tried that and got the png into photosop, I then just copied pictures of logos off the net and pasted them into the add, this didn't work though, the file was 300 kb and when I converted back and tried to put into the replace.bag it took a few seconds and then I tried to preview it in the baggi studios it was just all grey?

Did you convert the png to dds? That may be the problem.

Hi, yup did. These are the exact steps I took:
-Found adboards in replace.bag
-converted to png
-opened png in photoshop 7.0
-looked on net for logos (looked for jpgs first (didn't work) so then looked for png pictures as thought this may help)
-saved them
- pasted over old adboards with new pictures (old adds were still there just pasted over the top)
-converted back to .dds
-tried to put in but was just grey
(also just tried making one from a new photoshop window, same size and pixel count as the origional adds)
Am I doing anything wrong?

Hmm, my adboards seemed to work. You don't need to convert the adboards to .png. Did you download the .dds plug in for photoshop?? If you didn't than you need to download it do open and save the adboards.

Making adboards is actually really simple. Just use the .dds plugin for photoshop which you can get here and then open the extracted .dds files in PS and just cut/copy the logos/advertisements over the default ones, resize and adjust and then save the thing and import it back. I am not sure as to how many mipmaps you have to save the files with, I made some in the very beginning, perhaps someone else can tell you about the number of mipmaps, the remaining part is what I have written.
And if you are not successful even then, just request some patch-maker and they will definately do your adboards.

Wicked that worked, downloaded the dds addon, thanks a lot :clap

Thanks Haeiz, just did it, woo woo.

Hariz (sorry)
