Making Tests more exciting

well the Aus and South Africa series was very exciting, If oitches could be like that more often then we wouldnt have a problem

Some things that have changed in cricket since it was introduced.:p

Every new generation wants change. So, the purists will keep arguing that it(change) should'nt come but sooner or later, there will be change in the game and there is'nt much anyone can do about it. The truth is cricket is one of the very few sports(or is it the only sport?) to be played for a whole day. When there is too much to be lost for an average person who opts to go to a game of cricket instead of work, test match will cease to exist(or will be severely shortened) in a few decades.

Just my opinion.

Well Leave the Test Cricket the way it is. It was allways exciting. Fact is that, for an entertaining test match you need a good competetion. This is only possible if we had quality sides. Thats why Ind-Aus, RSA-Aus, Ind-RSA test series have been really exciting over the last few years. while Ashes, NZ-Aus series just proved to be a bit booring due to utter dominance of one side. So we had to improve the wuality of teams for test match to remain sucessful. Though i had a suggestion for T20, i would love to see if they remove Bouncers limit and restriction on bodyline bowling. This could be good for batsmen also, as good batsmen would still hit six on a bouncer,so there wont be a case where a bowler would bol 6 consecutive bouncer. Though Bowlers like Shaun Tai,Dale Steyn,Ishant Sharma,Lee can afford to do so. These new rules would make T20 even more exciting

As long as the players stay committed to Test cricket then there is no reason why it won't be around for another century. The fans that love Test cricket won't just suddenly disappear and they will pass this love down to the next generation.

I'm sure all this stuff about T20 being a threat to Test was said about ODI to Test but as we can see 30+ years on Test cricket is still around and as strong as ever. The explosion of T20 is going together with Test cricket at it's strongest now that Australia are on the down and India starting to click in Test cricket along with SA and England.
