Plus Pathan is such an ugly player to watch too, keep the word legend away from him.

I don`t know how one gets classified as a `Legend`. Guys like Tendulkar, Dravid, Viv, Ponting , Lara and Co. scored loads of runs against quality attacks time and again for a consistent period of time and here a random slogger flays a hapless attack in a domestic T20 game and he gets called a legend as well.
That undermines the effort of all the real `Legends` of the game.

Sidhu is pathetic as a TV commentator. He might have good english speaking skills but noone wants to listen to hyperbole after hyperbole. He is Verbal Diarrhoea personified really. You cannot take what he says seriously.

Serious overreaction that. You seem to be using the word `Legend` a bit too lightly. One T20 hundred against a bowling attack of Sathish, Ali Murtaza, Mclaren and Jayasuriya does not make someone a legend. That kind of devalues the word `Legend` when people use it so very loosely.

These guys are legends. Sidhu was probably India's answer to Viv Richards before Sachin got going. And for someone like Warne to rate this innings as "THE BEST" he's seen in 21 yrs of his cricket is an amazing compliment for Yusuf.

Calling Sidhu a legend and India`s answer to Viv is even more laughable than calling Yusuf a legend. Anyone who has watched Sidhu sleepwalk his way to a double ton at the Queenspark Oval in Trinidad in 1997 would never compare him to Viv. He feasted on spinners and on flat pitches. Probably one of India`s better players of spin but no legend of the game.

I understand that but I`m not comfortable with the words `legend` or `great`being used so loosely. As I said, it kind of devalues all that the true greats of the game have achieved. It takes more than a T20 inning against a mediocre attack to be classed as a legend according to me.

I've watched the whole innings of Pathan myself and I thought he played the same shots again and again (ugly slogs over long on) and I can't remember anything special being there. It was such a terrible innings to watch but it was destructive which is ideal in this form of the game so he deserves some credit but it's just ridiculous to say that this is the best innings ever.

3. Yusuf is no legend and even Warne and Siddhu knows it. Taking their sentences which are praising his knock for real "legend" would be stupid.
4. Siddhu is just a guy who hypes things up and should never be taken seriously.
