Well done, Naadooo!

Im proud of you, your doing well in what your trying to achieve.

Top 10 Posters of all time:) Cya Nixon, Hello Hooper!

Not entirely an achievement of knocking Andrew out of the top 10, seeing as his posts are somewhat more "well structured." and all actually add something to a topic.

I actually beg to differ. Hooper > Nixon any day.

Nixon's posts > Hoopers posts...

Im not speaking personally here, i'm just saying that Hooper's "top 10," achievement isn't something to be utterly proud of as a lot of Hoopers posts wouldn't have added as much in-depth discussion as Nixon's.

I'm trying to be careful with my words here, as i don't want Hooper to go up in flames and say that i'm a brown noser or something.

You love to kiss mod ass don't you.

Im not saying Im smarter then Nixon or my posts were more of a contribution to discussions then his...but its true that whenever Nixon posted in a Cricket Chat discussion, 99% of his argument included damn numbers. Going back to the Murali vs Warne thread he continually brought up the same old points when I was bringing new arguments to him, I found him pretty pathetic actually. He knew his cricket statistically but I dont rate him as a watcher. Im glad Ive knocked off that clown from the Top 10. Plus my posts actually start discussion and are sometimes humorous;)

Andrew_Nixon, in my opinion, has always been an integral part of PlanetCricket, and IMHO, even comparing him with any other member is simply insolent and disrespectful after all he had done for the forum. And while I am no mod, I think it should be reminded that this topic cannot be discussed without sparks of controversy flying from all directions, and this certainly not being the place to do so, let's leave the discussion there and move forward.

Also, congratulations to King Pietersen on reaching 2k posts. Kudos Dan for your unfaltering quality in posts. Keep up the great work. :)

Naveed, i agree with your point that comparing the likes of Hooper to Nixon is a disrespectful act.

Just because Nixon loved his Stats doesnt mean he wasn't a good poster, because Hooper, he's a damn sight better poster than you. Without Nixon PC is on a downer, ok i had a few bumps with him now and again, but thats not the point. His cricketing knowledge was vast.

Hooper, i don't kiss the "mods," asses as you say, why would i? Are they better than me? No, so no need to kiss. I'm just stating a fact that the posts of Andrew Nixon are ten-fold better to the ones of yours.

And as Naveed rightly says, Nixon is a very combustable topic, but one thing is dead set. Better knowledge than most on PC and a better poster than you, therefore my arguement about it not being an achievement to knock him out of the top 10, its more an insult that you brag about it and call him a clown.

Wolf, don't you think its time to hit those 4 figures? :p

OK old man...

I actually have found PC more fun and enjoyable without Nixon here. The Cricket Chat forum has been more exciting without him there IMO.

Nice stuff ireland.

Nixon was a good poster but so is Hooper, but in different ways. You can't really compare them as they both have good points and bad points. Hooper is a lot more laid back but Andrew had to be stricter due to moderating. At the end of the day it's not really worth falling out about, as who wants 10th when you could go for 1st? :p
