No I don't think WII will have more users than the PS3. Only hardcore gamers usually buy more than one console, and as you have said a few posts before this one, they are not very numerous. PS3 will definitely be peoples first choice, because it has far greater 3rd party support and except for Japan, Nintendo can't match Sony in terms of the games being released for its consoles.

I think Nintendo has done a smart thing, being unable to match MS and Sony in resources and clout over hardware vendors, instead of making yet another "killer" console, they've gone for gameplay and will be making a nice bundle of money since it makes its own games instead of relying excessively on 3rd party support. The Wii seems to be a move aimed at consolidating Nintendo's position in the market, and repositioning its image so as to avoid direct confrontation with Sony and MS, hence the lower price.

Jeez you seriously have a problem with Wii, don't you? It's nothing like a remote control. There are sensors all over the "remote" and nunchuck and its a COMPLETELY different feeling.

But still I don't think it will outsell Ps3, simple because Ps2 has been so popular and people think that there are massive improvements but not really.

I hate to say it, but I feel u have some prejudice against Wii.

No doubt PS3 is a great console, but Wii and PS3 are made to serve different crowds.There is no reason to compare them, its the end user who will decide the winner.And frankly, wii will have more users than PS3.Simply b/s those who can buy PS3 will, no doubt, buy Wii also.But not vice - versa

let me make it clear i have nothing against nintendo, if you read my posts on the ds vs psp topic i was one of the very few to support ds, cause i own one and i will surely own the WII. WII wil outsell everything in japan thats for sure but elsewhere i have my doubts, also WII and ps3 are made for different type of gamers so you cannot compare them .

KMK I have a DS aswell and I love it! Infact im playing it now on New Super Mario Bros which I got as an import today, not out over here until July 31sT!

i cant wait till hl:2 now as it comes bundled with team fortress 2 which is a fps but with Pixar film graphics looks nice.
