Got a soft spot for Ireland.

I have a fascination for things growing, so I have a soft spot for Ireland since they are minnows, and I believe they can be a competitive team in the future.

Would have helped if Ed Joyce didnt pull a Judas on them.

For me it's in this order. India first, then Sri Lanka (some people I know there personally, and I love the team.), then Pakistan. My all time favourite three. I like the Windies as well but that's like whoa.

Personally I don't have a second favourite team. I keep thinking and thinking, but I cannot seem to decide. Maybe Kenya or Bangladesh... :p

I'll say Pakistan, bcoz i like some of their players. And Shoaib Akhtar is one of my fav.

I agree, i will say New Zealand even though they are a rival they are our closest playing nation and enjoy watching them play when they do play against over teams bar us and i will go for them so i guess they have my vote but in a sport that involves countries i dont really have a 2nd favourite team

I would say india, and i think that every Pakistani would like to see india win if they are not playing against Pakistan.
Speak for yourself :p

West Indies are my second favorite team, and would love to see them win the World Cup Pakistan don't win it.

Aren't Inida and Pakistan supposed to be close rivals like England and Australia? i cant imagine much Australians saying England are thier second favourtie team!

Its a new thing for some Pakistanis and Indians where they think its politically incorrect to bash their neighbors (mostly in light of the peace talks). Maybe pakibro is one of them, or maybe he genuinely likes India :|

most funny post of the week?

you were jokin right?...

you were serious?!!!
i would much rather watch grass grow

Some of us still like to watch one of the finest batsman in world cricket, one of the finest all-rounders in the history of the game, and one of the most technically correct players around. Unlike the Afridiites out there, some of us still appreciate the finer arts of cricket

I've gone for the Windies, as a kid watching their quickies steam in and scare the crap out of some of the top batsman in world cricket has always stuck as an ever-lasting image.

I've also always liked their almost care-free approach yet ability to be deadly serious when it really counts. That and the fact that their players often have a real sense of class about them whilst bordering on the unorthodox. It's a shame in recent years that only Lara has provided that class, but watching him bat in full flow is more than enough to make up for it!

New Zealand without doubt. Stylish batsmen, classy fielding, exciting bowlers and the best captain of my lifetime.

A fan of South Africa for Herschelle Gibbs (when on form) because few can rival him in terms of aggressive batting in Test matches. Pollock is an idol of mine as well.

As for Gambino, what's so boring about watching one of the best batsmen in the world? There's more to cricket than boundaries and I love watching the techical assertiveness (sp? if it's even a word) of Kallis and Dravid.

I actually like Pakistan, always have. My friends call me a traitor...beh. I remember watching the game at Abu Dhabi. Irfan to Afridi. I was chanting Afrid, my friend Irfan. Sadly he won :(
