In my 1st game the mouse control was fine until i had to select a new batsmen a new bowler, or click ok after rain. At times it took me over 10 minutes off clicking as the mouse stopped moving and seemed to glide in split frame stages. I thought it had crashed a few times and at times I chose not to bother choosing a new bowler as I knew it would take 10 minutes or may casue my game to crash.

It was really frustrating and it was more by chance when I managed to select a bowler rather than choosing them. Even when I finally got the mouse to hover directly over the player and clicked 20 or 30 times it didn't select the bowler, instead the mouse continuted to move around the screen at 5 second intervals almost at random

Can oneone help me overcome this?

ps- when do new signings join for there new clubs, as I have signed a few and sold a few but the season has started with the same old squad, even though I thought(hoped) I had got rid of a few of them.

Was this in full screen?

When playing in full screen it's possible that other programs running on your system could slow the game down, if this was the case then the mouse may become unresponsive whilst the system was slow. For example if you had an anti-virus program suddendly scan your system then it's possible that could slow things down for a bit.

Oli it was in full-screen but I ensured I didn't have anything running in the background. Whilst I understand what you are saying about things slowing down the game the mouse was brilliant before and after selecting the new batsmen, new bowler, or clicking ok after rain introductions.

As soon as I made it through and managed to select the new batsmen, bowler etc the mouse speed returned to normal, and was fine until I had to make my next selection.

Basically any screen that came up requiring me to select a specific option caused the problem (it took at least 5 minutes and normally longer to select a new batsmen or bowler). However once I had made the choice the game returned back to normal.

Any thoughts?
