Player who have retired after the year 2000 will play for thier country once again.

Top Cricketing official's had come to attend the meeting in dubai. ICC announced that it will organise a comepetition where some retired international player's will play in competetion which will be a 50 Over competetion.

Teams that are likely to participate are

--> India
--> Australia
--> Westindies
--> Newzealand
--> England
--> Zimbabwe
--> South Africa
--> Pakistan
--> Srilanka

This tournment is most likely to be played in australia but still venue is undecided.

After this meeting BCCI was very much impressive with the Idea of ICC and decided to sponser half the tournment.

Continued Meeting

Further in the meeting the venue was to be decided. ICC started the procedure of bidding for the Venue. PCB started the bid where the wanted this tournment to be played in Dubai. PCB had bid 22 Million $

Newzealand raised the bid that of pakistan with 30 Million $. Pakistan where in no mood to give up this competetion and raised the bid to 60 Miilion Dollars. NewZealand Further Bid 90 Million Dollars. Zimbabwe in mean while bid with 92 Million Dollars.

Westindies board entered the bidding proceedure with bidding with 100 Million Dollars. BCCI now gave thier first bidding shot as 120 Million Dollars. Australian Cricket Board also started with 125 Million Dollars.

But as i said PCB Was in no mood to give up this tournment to other countries.

Continued Meeting​

With Australian Cricket Board Bidding With 125 Million Dollars, BCCI increased the bid with whooping 200 Million Dollars.

Everyone in the meeting hall became silent. Count Was On 1.... 2.... and suddenly South African Cricket Board Bid With 230 Million Dollar's. BCCI did not want to bid further and said it will be cleared in the press conference.

Again the count was on 1.. 2.. 3.. and the Host's are The South Africans. Cricket South Africa's CEO Gerald Majola Announced That 230 Million Dollar's Expenditure Was Spent as a joint venture with the Zimbabwean Cricket Board. ZCB has agreed to share 92 Million Dollar out of the 230 Million Dollars.

ICC Cheif Have Called For The Press Conference and Said all the details about the comepetion will be announced in press release​

Chapter 2

Press Conference

ICC had called for a press conference. ICC's Cheif Excecutive Officer Haroon Lorgat and President David Morgan announced the League's name as Corporate Cup.

On asking why corporate cup they answered " This league is of great financial help. The money collected from the crowd in the stadium will be given in charity for the first season. "

They also added " World is facing financial crisis and this is just an initiative to help the world. Next season we have decided to give the profits to the cricketing boards who are not financially strong."

ICC Cheif added " People play IPL and a particular country is proffited, this will help all the boards who ae in financial crisis."

Press asked them questions regarding the tournment and teams that are participating and ICC Chief answered as " We have conformation from 9 teams India , Srilanka , Pakistan, Australia , West Indies , Zimbabwe , South Africa and NewZealand. The cricketing board have confirmed thier participation. Bangladesh Cricket Board have cancelled with the proposal and are not sending thier team for this inaugral Corporate Cup.

Press Question : Which type of player's will play and what is the format of the game T20 50-50 or Test ?

ICC President this time answered " It's going to be 50 over tournment and player's who have retired from international cricket and are willing to participate will be playing this CUP. There are few player's who are currently playing for thier side.

ICC Chief added on the question " There is a NO FORCE CERTIFICATION that is given to all the cricketing board and player's who find themself Fit only they can participate."

Lorgat added " We will unviel the trophy on 4th January 2009 4.00 PM IST , South Africa and Zimbabwe have won the bid and will host the tournment , the tournment will last around 2-3 weeks. "

President Morgan finnally stated " Sponsorship Meeting is tomoorow after that the trophy will be unvieled, Thank You Very Much "
