Murali or Warne

The Australian tour of Sri Lanka will starts in this month. Shane Warne will come back to action in the 3 match test series. Who will be the 1st to get 500 wkts. Murali or Warne?

its a tough one to call but I think Muralitharan has a chance since he was really effective in last tour against England. Warne will be back after a year so cant really tell much about his current form.

Murali will easily get to 500 before Warne. First no one knows if Warne will even be playing, what if he plays terribly in the lead up to the tests, i doubt he will get picked. Then the fact Murali seemingly bowls almost half of Sri Lanka's overs, the reason why he takes so many wickets per matches. I hope neither gets to 500 and neither breaks Walsh's record, as I have a huge dislike for both Murali and Warne.

I think it will be close, Warne will not be back to his best and Murili will probbaly take a lot of wickets in the series.
I still think it will be close because Warne has a slight lead

i think a lot of peeps forget just how brilliant a bowler warne actually is. it is often too easily overshadowed by 'other stuff'

having said that, the only slow bowler who could hold a candle to him in recent times is most certainly murali.

the race for 500 will depend on whether warne gets back to his best before murali closes the five wicket gap...

How can you compare these 2 as one is a leg spinner and one is an off spinner.

But if i had to choose i would pick Warnie all the way but Murali is great to.
