we lost by bout 4 runs only because i was controlling the shot direction and he was pressing the shot buttons

I nearly lost a match today on medium level. I played as Sri lanka against England at galle. It was a 50 over game. I lost the toss and got put in to field(actually if i had won it, i would have chosen to bowl). The first over was really frustrating. I got two edges. I went above the keeper and the other through gulley. Then it was all bread and butter. I reduced them to 7 for 52 in about 27 overs. But then, it was again a bit frustrating. I eventually got the 8th wicket on 94 and the 9th one after two balls on the same score. England ended up 110 allout. I got to a flying start as I hit james kirtley for 4 sixes with jayasuriya in just the 3rd over. I kept on going untill i lost my first wicket to a runout which was very close. My first wicket fell on 82. Then i lost my controll on the game and unbelievably i was 96 for 7. Fronm there I played really slowly and reached 110 safely without losing another wicket. Then i went for the winning shot but got cought. I was 110 for 8. Then the new batsman came in. I cut the ball and it went veryfine for four and eventually I won the game. Man that was the closest game I ever had. But then it was all joy as I won the game. England made me very frustrated as they played out 44 overs for their 110 runs. dont have ny memory card on PS2 so i bowled all these overs without taking a stop. Thats why i went for quick runs and lost so many wickets.

yesterday I had the closest game of my life. I palyed this in medium difficulty. I started a world cup match (2003) , as england and my first match was against Zimbabwe at harare. The patch was normal and the temprature was cool & sunny. I lost the toss and Zimbabwe elected to bat first. James Anderson open the bowling for england and viola he started it with a bang taking hattrick with forst 3 deliveries with was an outswinger. Zimbabwe slowly crawled to 204 in 50 over, England stared off badly and lost two quick wickets to streak, but after that Vaughan & Mcgrath steadied the innings. Vaughan scored a brilliant 56 before he got out from there england crawled to 196 all out and lost the match by 8 eight runs. Soooooooo close!

the closest game i had was a bit of an unfair game to me. it was a 10 over match on hard. i was ministers 11 (62/100 or 67 im not sure) and my frend was all stars (97/100). he batted first and tendulker hit 22 off the first over. then d.wrigth came on in the 2nd over and got 5 wickets in 6 balls cos my frend thought he was so good that he cood smash (I bowled and no ball and a wide so there was 8 balls techniclly). tendulker ended up geting 31. i got him all out 4 47. i batted slowly, after the first over i was 1 for 1. mcgragh came on the 2nd over and i thought i was gone 4 all money. but i did an exxelent cut 4 for. i was 1 for 10 off 2 overs. after 5 overs i was 1 for 28. i had wickets in hand so if i needed to i cood smash. off a crap mcgragh over i got 15 runs. so i only needed about 2 an over. so i slowly just got singles to long on cos of his crap field. mulitheran came on turning te ball heeps. i got lbw wich was missing leg, but still close. i was pissed and my frend thought he still had a chance. a few dot balls but then he drifted down leg and i swept him for 4. it relieved the pressure, no i only needed about 5 or 10 off 3 overs. he changed the field tempting me to go over the top. but i ran 2 quick singles by blocking and running. so he changed the field leaving mid on open. i tried to smash a ball outside off to the long on boundary but i missed and just missed the top of off stump. i did it again but this time conecting and geting the winning runs with 1.3 overs left.
