What pitch are we going to play the first game on S?

Australian squad for the first ODI is :

Matthew Hayden
Adam Gilchrist (vice-captain)
Ricky Ponting (captain)
Damien Martyn
Simon Katich
Michael Clarke
Andrew Symonds
Shane Watson
Brett Lee
Jason Gillespie
Glenn McGrath

Andrew Symonds will bowl off spin in this game.

Australia choose to bat although they are in good batting form. Now the extended batting line up will come for good use. The temptation was to choose Kasper over Watson but gave that idea up.

Good luck England, look forward to a terrific series.

Here we go Shailesh, both the team file as well as the AI patch is attached. Please use this patch as I am more than sure this is the latest version. Good luck mate

10 overs: England off to a flying start as Solanki looked in good touch right from the start. But just when things started to look dangerous for Australia, Lee got the wicket of Solanki (41 off 34) who must be kicking himself for attempting that loose shot. England 65 for 1.

Hmmmmm..... always knew it wasn't going to be hard for England to get off to a good start but this one is a terrific start indeed.

yes good start by england. australians are strugling at the moment

20 overs: Trescothick and Strauss are putting together a good partnership after England lost Vaughan soon after the last update. Ponting's move to bring Gillespie back paid off as Vaughan (9 off 18) tried to hit over covers ended up giving a simple catch to Clarke. Since then the England bats have focussed mainly on 1s and 2s, though Trescothick hit a big straight 6 off Clarke for a change. England 122 for 2.

30 overs: Trescothick leading the way for England with a fine 50 (61 balls, 7 4s, 1 6). England lost Strauss (37 off 37) since the last update but with Trescothick still there and Flintoff waiting in the pavillion, a big score is on the cards. Ponting must be rethinking his decision to field first but still trying everything to get 1-2 wickets which can get them back in the match. England 180 for 3.

40 overs: Trescothick completed a fine 100 (123 balls, 15 4s, 1 6) as England are moving towards a big total. Pietersen the last man out for a well made 31 off 27. With Flintoff wasting no time to get going (a big one in 40th over off Watson) final 10 overs promise plenty of entertainment for the home crowd. England 251 for 4.
