Guys , esp Aussies i need some info about education in Australia, which are the top univ's for management courses in Australia and other details. Need help , so please leave in your MSN/YAhoo Id's.

IS UTS ( Univ of tech Sydney) any good?

If you're coming to Melbourne then the most prestigious universities are University of Melbourne and Monash University (both are part of the Group of 8 - Australia's leading universities). University of Melbourne has a new system called the Melbourne Model though, it's basically a 3 year general degree which you could do in Commerce. Then you can take a specialised degree in whatever specific field you want, or you could look for a job with it. It's weird, read about it here:http://www.futurestudents.unimelb.edu.au/about/m_model/index.html

Yeah , i am coming to Australia. I need particular instituions which offer MBA programmes , need the best institues. which are the best?

I am planning either Sydney (UTS) or Melbourne (Univ of Melbourne)

Sydney- USYD, UNSW and UTS. From memory UNSW might be ranked number 1 in commerce in Australia

Melbourne- Monash, University of Melbourne (top notch UNIs)

Canberra- Australian National University (good uni but trust me canberra is the most boring place on earth... no night life whatsoever)

UTS is ok. UNSW, Monash and ANU do actuarial science (insurance basically) which is in severe demand but because of its difficulty not many people pass. Oh wait your planning to do management. I thought u wanted to do insurance risk for some reason...

For management any of the above UNIs are good. Personally i think you should go to USYD for that (in Sydney). The others are quite good though (UTS should be the last option- its a good uni don't get me wrong but it isn't as prestigous as USYD or UNSW). I don't know much about the Melbourne unis. ANU is solid but as i said before its in Canberra (yuck)

I think that Melborune model thing sounds awesome. Get an entire foundation before specialising, only downside is 5 years, but I am considering that. It's that or Singapore. Or Hong Kong...
